What is the market share of linux compared to previous years?

I ask this because all the main linux support forums seem to be dying slowly.

Does anyone have numbers to show if linux community is growing or not?

Linux is at 3.5% and growing slowly.

Maybe the main linux forums seem to be dying as there are more distro specific forums popping up??
