Question what is the latest development of Linux?


I need to report on the latest development of Linux, could someone kindly help me to on this?

As you know, Linux is not driven by a central comittee. Thus there are a lot of new developments, many independent and unrelated.

This gives rise to sourceforge.

Linux itself is the Linux kernel. A distribution is just a bunch of packages put together to make that distro.

Why don't you report on the political and legal developments of Linux?
