I'm starting with Linux. I haven't yet install it but i'll do it very soon. I choice slackware etc. But i would like to start with book about Linux. I would like to read some very well book after which i can now most of things linked with Linux not everything but almost..
Which book should i choose, it would be good if it can be readed on net.
Slackware is very good and fast, but little tough to learn for the starter, instead, get your hands dirty with MANDRAKE first as its very easy to install and work on...when you get used to working on Mandrake linux, you can switch to either FEDORA or SLACKWARE...
You can go to the distro's site that you want to use and read the books there. Slackware has a book at there site, it's a little outdated but still pretty good.Mandrake a has a small book at there site under doc's that's not to detailed but good enough to get you going.
