What happens if you have 27 drives?

I have a question that is purely hypothetical and will probably never happen in real life, but I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone knows.

If you're reading this, you most likely know the way Linux handles drives (sda, sdb...). So if you connect 26 drives, you should have "sda" through "sdz", right? So what happens if you connect a 27th drive?

Drive 27 would be sdaa, drive 28 would be sdab, etc etc etc.

Funny thing is that in an old dos class I had. A 27th drive there would be aa and ab.

I did make one just to test and it did work.

I've never tried linux that way but you could try it to see if it is still supported.
