What does the left button in a fluxbox winow do?

There is a button in the upper left corner with a small black square on it that doesn't seem to do anything. When I click it , the square is made bigger but nothing else seems to happen. Just curious if it does anything useful.

Hi.

I believe that's the 'stick' button. It makes that window appear on all of your virtual desktops.
