what does it means

HI
what does these lines means

1) Linux enjoys long uptimes,so it is important that you get it right the first time.

2) It attemps to be verbose in most situations with either booting up or running separate programs.

3)It provides several different runlevels or boot levels.

Well, they kinda describe the OS I assume.

1. Linux can run for days, weeks and even years without a reboot or crash.

2. Linux is very robust, you can start and end services without reboots/restarts, its a very flexible OS. You can fully customize it as well, also its open source is a big plus.

3. It comes with 6 actually, well usually only 4 are used or needed.

Halt or shutdown, Single user, Multiuser, Graphical and then Reboot.
