"PCLinuxOS Preview 7 is an English only Knoppix style live cd initially based on Mandrake Linux that runs entirely from a bootable CD without installing anything on your computer. Data on the CD is uncompressed on the fly allowing up to 2 GB of programs on one CD including a complete Xserver, KDE Desktop, Open Office, Nvidia 3D graphic drivers and Java all preconfigured and ready to use.
In addition to the livecd, you can also install PCLinuxOS to your hard drive with our easy to use livecd-installer provided you like it and it runs well on your computer. Additional applications can be added or removed from your hard drive using our friendly apt-get frontend via The Synaptic Software Manager."
