Angry What can I do facing boot "kernel panic", except reinstallation?

Hi all,

Since first time I use RedHat, I have got in "kernel panic" trouble many many times. But I still can't find any useful method to solve the problem. Mostly, it stops booting with an error message--kernel panic. try to transfer a "init=" option.
I guess maybe some other users already met this trouble. Please give me some suggestion about the reason of this strange problem and the method to solve it.
Thank you.
