what's the unicode char for the giant triangles?
the ones people use in prompts and on status bars etc? the one that makes the background color look like a giant arrow? i tried google.

Hmmm... most of those are actual images I think.
Maybe if you could find an example of what you mean on a site somewhere and look at the page source, or copy and paste one and you can see if it is a unicode character or an image.

i dunno', maybe different fonts. unless there's a way to put images in your shell prompt. like the giant triangles in powerline that make the background color look like an arrow.
edit: i just use normal old zsh, but like the ' agnoster' theme in oh-my-zsh. i've seen people make lemonbar look like that too. where the background color extends to a point because of some sort of giant triangle thing.

Look in your menu for a character picker, like gucharmap, and search for triangle. There are lots in the Geometric Shapes and Dingbats sections.

According to this page, they're specially patched fonts:

I thought you were talking about web site content.
HAHA! Then I guess I really am a relic... powerline, agnoster, lemonbar... never heard of them! Sounds more like an assortment of energy bars from the 7-11 candy rack
I'll defer to others.
