What's going on with SourceForge CVS?

Everytime I try to access CVS on SourceForge for a number of projects, I get this message right after entering the blank password:
cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
There are no other messages. I noticed Gaim has switched over to Subverion. Anyone know what's going on or how I can use the CVS?
