Website access problems
Marriott recently upgraded their website and Southwest just did the same. Since the upgrades I can not access their websites via my home laptop which is Linux based. I get an error page that says my id and password are incorrect although nothing has changed. I called Marriott and they said the problem is their website is not set up for Linux access and that they could not do anything for me. This is a HUGE problem. Can anyone here please help? I am NOT a Linux expert. My hubby put Linux on our boxes as he is a huge open source advocate however this is screwing me up. Please help. Oh, hubby is the kind that asks me to figure it out because he knows I eventually will but this is hard.

Well if they coded their pages for IE or Windows only, you best get an emulator so you can run Windows or IE while in Linux. Unfortunately there is no way around it except maybe trying to trick the site that your using IE thru your browser on Linux, but even then the majority of the time it won't work depending on the site.

The website may be trying to read old cookies, have you tried deleting all old cookies and trying? Could you also post what browser you are using?

I have not tried deleting the old cookies. How do I delete the old? We use Mozilla. And, I was logging in with id and password saved on each site.

I deleted my cookies and I can access the Marriott site! Still can't get to the Southwest site. It still retains my id and password no matter what I do. I also deleted all info in my form manager. Any suggestions?
