web cam and web cam server

well i just had a blazin idea today

anyways i need to get my web cam working for linux not sure if there are drivers or tutorials or whatever i am sure i am going ot have to tell you guys a bit of more info

one more thing if i get it working are there any kinda plug ins for apache or any kinda web cam servers that i can get my hands on
my goal is that when ever i log into my site from a remote location i can see what is going on in my room just by a click of a link

Take a look at this (for debian but I'm sure you could work it out)

It really depends on your webcam and if there are drivers available though, Google is your friend.
