Simply becuase I'm A visual person, I accidentally chose Grub as my bootloader when I installed Mandrake on a second Hard Disk. I want to change this to graphical Lilo (prettier!), and I have NO CLUE how to go about doing that... any advice?
You can probably install the lilo RPM from you install disc, via Mandrake Package Manager. Then from there, open the Mandrake Control Center and change your choice of boot loaders from Grub to LILO. If after that you still have GRUB, you can try running (as root) /sbin/lilo
i am a redhat user and in redhat lilo and grub both are installed
although you choose any of them as default.
and if you choose grub as your default boot loader then /etc/lilo.conf is saved as /etc/lilo.conf.anaconda.
so just rename it and run /sbin/lilo.
and if you want to move again to grub then
grub-install /dev/hd?
