Wake up

Hey all,

How come sometimes my fedora cannot wake up?

I do my cleaning,i come back, screen saver is Alright,it wake's up.After a while tought,I touch the mouse or Keyboard BUT it wont wake up!I've seen this before but after a couple of updates ...fixed.I'll keep off those screen savers, but damit men! I just wish before putting those in the Distribution...TEST THEM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!I could not even go in init3,ALT-CTRL F2 or whats ever...Sorry, just that i'm mad right now! The F project is my Distrib...of choice.

My two cents,

Mart.

Looks like a hardware problem, not a fedora problem.
I am using FC4 and FC5 here in the work for months and I never had such problem. I leave they always turned on, I come back at Monday and everything is working.

Try to disable any BIOS settings that could be related with that. Things like hard disk sleep times, or suspend/hibernating modes, disable all that stuff.

Hi,

hum...I sometimes boot with Windoze(dual disks) and I do not have that problem but I'll give it a shoot anyways.

Thx for the reply :)
