Ok, I think I can get my wacom tablet to do what I want. I have the XF86Config file setup properly, I believe. I'm probably going to have to reinstall gtk+ and the gimp, but that's ok. The only thing keeping me from allowing X to recognize my tablet is this in my startup message for XFree86:
(II) Module wacom: vendor="The XFree86 Project"
compiled for 4.2.0, module version = 1.0.0
(EE) module ABI minor version (3) is newer than the server's version (2)
(II) Unloading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/input/wacom_drv.o
(EE) Failed to load module "wacom" (module requirement mismatch, 0)
I downloaded the latest wacom driver from the official linux wacom driver site...
I believe I have the kernel setup correctly, I can use my tablet as a mouse, but that's all. It's not in absolute mode and there isn't any pressure sensitivity. Any help would be much appreciated.
