VO output distorted

I have been using ATI tv-out and a CRT-monitor for a period of time without any problems. Now i have a LCD-display, and even though TV-out still works atitvout distorts my xv output. The result after changing the output to TV and then back to LCD is that when using xv for video output the whole picture is jammed to the left half of the window. The picture is compressed to half the width but the height is kept. The right half of the window is just black. Zooming and fullscreen mode etc works just as before, it is just the movie ratio that is not correct.

I am using Mdk 10.1 Official with Fluxbox with am ATI Rage 128 pro card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
