vncserver problems starting

Hey guys

I have FC1 with these packages to run vnc as server:
vnc-server-4.0-0.beta4.3.2
vnc-4.0-0.beta4.3.2

I edited the file /etc/sysconfig/vncservers

VNCSERVERS="1:yuri"

Iv done that as root.

Now I want to set up a password for vnc. So I do this as user "yuri"
$ vncpasswd
Password:
Verify:

Now I want to start the vncserver.
$ service vncserver start
$ Starting VNC server: 1:yuri <--- And it just hangs here (nothing is happening)

But if I do it as root its fine. The service Xvnc Starts up and is running. How can I do this with my username instead of root?

hi Xris718,

log in to the users home directory and in the shell just type "vncserver"....it will allocate a desktop number (note that)

now try connecting from a client like "ip-address-of-the-server:desktop-number" and it will ask u for the password...enter it and u r done
