There's commercial/free products like Amavis, Sophos, AVP and Inflex for e-mailscanning, have a look at the (still authoritative?) Linux AV FAQ at http://www.cn.is.fh-furtwangen.de/~l...v-linux_e.txt.

Free stuff to sort/prune/cleanse based on content also includes packages like renattach and the Perl::milter stuff, just do a search on "mail sanitizing" or "mail content filtering".

Question How to filter in Sendmail?

unSpawn,

I have the same problem but I don't know how to filter by mail conten for example?

Now I have a lot of PCs infected with virus and I want to block all messages with an .vbs or .exe file attachment.

I read something about procmail but i couldn't set it up.

I don't want to use other software I prefer to set up Procmail.

Give a light,

thanx
