virus protection

How do I run a full virus scan for my linux machine. I use red hat 7.1. Whats the software and how do I do it.
any help would be apprecaited.
should i download any special software or it is bundled with red hat.

Virues in Linux are rare. Click Here to view a list of anti virus software I found.

Personally I feel that if you work as a normal (i.e. non root) user
you won't have a major threat of any virus damaging your system.
