vim syntax highlighting

How would I change the files vim highlights? I'd like to have vim highlight .phps as well as .php.

I tried doing this in /usr/share/vim/vim63/syntax:
Code:
ln -s php.vim phps.vim
but it didn't work. ^^;

Edit: /usr/share/vim/vim63/filetype.vim and add the extension to the line with php and php3
