View Word Doc in Browser

I have a question on if something is possible, I had a request to see if I could make it so you could view and edit a word document online through a webbrowser. You have to be able to do it off windows, linux, etc... I don't think this is possible but I have learned to ask before I write it off. The server this would be on would be a redhat linux machine with full hosting support.

What this client wants is for somebody to upload a word doc and have it show up on the webpage for any authorized person to edit without having to download, save, then reupload the file.

If you know of anything that could do this please reply back.

You could certainly download a copy and reupload it using a simple form and a CGI backend.

You may also be interested in this service though:
