Video Card

Can anybody reccomend a good PCI video card with video-in and video-out that DOES NOT REQUIRE A MONITOR PLUGGED IN?

I already have a very nice GeForce2MX AGP card. I like it rather a lot, and want to leave my monitor plugged in to it. The only reason I want to add a second video card is to export edited video streams to VHS (and, of course, import the video to edit).

I'm not talking about home movies here--don't say "get a digital camcorder instead". I want to import popular movies and dub funnier soundtracks over them, add some subtitles, special effects, whatever. I know that people in China have great fun with English movies by having funny people dub over the conversation without even understanding the original content, and I want to get in on this right here in Canada.

I want a video card that is going to coexist with my AGP card, in Windows, Linux and BeOS. From what I've heard about BeOS, that'll probably be the OS I do my video editing in, so I primarily want a card that's not going to try to install itself over my AGP card in 'doze, and that isn't going to cause problems with XFree86 4.

Yo, Tricky,

I checked that weblink, and it is leading to nowhere.

I am interested in what the thread starter wants, so I went to check some info, and I got a "No Page Found" error.
