Using Perdition 1.13-2 with Postfix/LDAP/Courier IMAP

I am currently try to restrict pop3 access to certain users on my virtual email server by using Perdition 1.13-2 as a proxy pop3 server.
My current basic setup is Redhat 9.0, Postfix, OpenLDAP, Courier-IMAP

While its working fine from command line mode and integrating with LDAP, i am having problems in running it as a daemon.

On starting as a daemon, it just results in a blank screen and does not get started properly.

any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

it worked..

we have managed to configure perdition to work with courier imap...

and we can now restrict selective users from pop access.
