User quota with non local users

Hello,

Here is my problem:

I want to set userquotas for the users of my server, but the only problem is that they are not local users. If they connetc via ftp the authentification is checking the username and password on an external ldap server (ldap.mydomaine.com).

Is their any solution tu limit the size of the directories directly, whitout creating all users on the server?

Thanks

Well, are their home directories on the ldap server or the server at hand ? I would think putting a quota on their own /home directories where ever it resides should work with no problems.
