USB Audio - 5.1 Sound - Microphone - Neither work

Hi,

I don't even know where to begin with this. There are no linux drivers for it.

It's the 'Gainward hollywood@home mediaXtender' and it was expensive, and it's quality is amazing. I can't afford to replace it and don't really want to have to.

I have plugged into it:
A subwoofer
Front Center Speaker
Front Left Speaker
Front Right Speaker
Back Left Speaker
Back Right Speaker
Headset with microphone

The front left and right speakers work, the headset (excluding the microphone) works.

I need all 5 speakers and my microphone to work.

I have searched EVERYWHERE and can not find information regarding this. I want to remove any need to boot into windows but as long as I can't use a microphone I will use it daily for ventrilo, and also when I want to watch movies for the surround sound.

No drivers exist for linux.

What are my options?

Honestly I haven't seen any configuration regarding 5.1 sound in my distro.
I used to have a problem with the microphone with Debian Etch. It just didn't work. BTW, which soundcard do you have??

Already said: "Gainward hollywood@home mediaXtender" it's a USB external sound card.

My microphone now works using the realtek onboard sound card.

But that doesn't have 5.1 support which I need for my speakers and the USB sound card provides, don't I need to route the output to somewhere in the sound card? I have no idea...
