URGENT:rebooting again n again
I hava created a .sh file in the folder /etc/profile.d
and in this i have given the command REBOOT. n i just logged out n when i am restarting it is rebooting repeatedly......any one so plz tell me the solutions for it........... |
Dare I ask why you would do such a thing?
At any rate, the easiest thing would be to just boot to a live CD (the install CD will likely double as a rescue CD), mount the drive, and remove the offending script/command. Then simply reboot the machine. You may also be able to boot into single user mode and make the change that way, but I can't honestly say for sure if that will override the profile.d scripts or not. |
can u plz tell me the command how to mount the drive...
