Well I personally am going to need some more info than that. What does your logs say in /var/log ? I would suggest enabling debugging on the sendmail daemon and starting there. I can only guess as to what the problem is at this point.

thanks for the reply , actually the thread was faxed to me by my client, cz that was the error that happenend on my client side, but he had no problem sending mail to other ppl, just to my company only, i'm able to send him email and they able to receive it, The main problem was that he unable to send mail to my company i mean any email that with my domain. i had check my firewall and it did not had any filtering and also does an nslookup and it able to resolve it. so wat is the possibility that cz my client can't send mail to my company? Thanks for the effort of helping me out, hope they more reply , thanks

Well in that case, his company is unable to get through your firewall then. You better double check and VERIFY that a system is able to communicate with your sendmail server from the outside.

You can do this by simply hooking up a laptop on the outside of your firewall and pointing your e-mail client to the outside address that will be statically mapped back to your sendmail box. Or if you're confident enough, use a program like ' ipsource ' and send some packets at your firewall and watch the logs.
