Respected sir,
I had installed Linux on my pc, later i installed windows xp on my system, my pc after installing windows xp is not at all showing the linux os and the partition(prior to insatlling windows xp ihad three partitions now the computer is not reconising the third partition). please tell me what could i do to get back the linux os.

Hello

Windows doesn't have much respect for Linux, so when you first install Linux and then Windows, Windows overwrites the master boot record where the bootloader was saved onto.

You could try to reinstall Linux, but look on the installation CD if there is a repair option before going through the whole procedure again.
