Lightbulb uptime for server


hallo all
i have this friend who has a server and he wants to know how can he see the uptime of his server

its a red hat 9 server

plz help

haha. thats great. yep just type 'uptime' at terminal. One guy asked before what the equivalent command to ping from windows was in linux. :P
