upgrading kernel to 2.6.4 ?


Hi there
I am newbie in linux
Should I upgrade to 2.6.4 ?
it seems that RH network upgrades the kernel to 2.4.* , whats the matter?!!!!

is there any resons for me to upgrade it or not?

The distro has it's own kernel that it supports, not the latest one available.

You can have many different kernels and use them all. You should probably keep the default kernel in case you need to use it.
