Wink Uninstalling Mandrake 9.1

My hard drive dual boots with Win98SE and Linux Mandrake 9.1 on it. I wish to uninstall Mandrake 9.1, yet leave Win98SE alone.
I plan to reinstall Mandrake later.
How may I uninstall Mandrake and not affecting the
Windows 98SE portion.

Format the partition it's installed on, boot up with a win98 boot disk and type:
fdisk /mbr

To remove the boot loader, and that should be it.

An alternative to the boot loader removal is to boot up with the Mandrake install CD and use the rescue function, and choose to restore the MBR.

Cool
