i installed fedora core 4 beside to the existing windows xp and 98 since that and both of the windows systems are not working so now i desperately need my files and stuff in the XP well all what comes to my mind after many trials to get xp work again, is just to uninstall fedora so i can get back my xp
there is no uninstall.. just install over it. what do you expect to happen in an uninstall? i hope you don't think that you'll somehow recover lost data...
ok, maybe you shoudl explain in bette rdetail what you actually mean then. you say that by uninstalling feodra somehow XP will start working again?? you've not even said in what way it's not working... if you mean there's no boot option to it, and other than that everythign is perfectly fine, then just edit /boot/grub/grub.conf to configure the entires. if you wish to remove grub, then just use a windows boot disk and run "fdisk /MBR"
