Unable to save the changes


Hi,
I get this
"hosts" E212: Can't open file for writing
Press ENTER or type command to continue

and cannot save the changes being applied to the file /etc/hosts. what to adjust?

Hi,

first thing to check would be file permissions - eg are you root? If this is not cause of your problems, please tell us exactly what you are doing and what is reporting the error message.
