Unable to print .pdf and djvu with canon ip1900 in my session.


as the subject saids i'm unable to print .pdf and .djvu files in my session, the curious thing is that i can print .doc, .png, .txt, odt, etc in my session, and .pdf and .djvu files only as root, i already have tested the printer in windows and works fine. so i don't know what to do.
i assume there's gone be needed more info, please just tell me what info it would be need.
i'm using linux mint 10.

Launch Firefox: go to CUPS @ 127.0.0.1:631/admin. Get into the printer ip1900 configuration, Set Allowed Users. There put the name of the $USER who is going to use the printer. You will need the root privilege to do this. Set ip1900 as your Default Printer on that page.

Then launch your pdf Document Viewer configure it through File->Print..->General and use the default printer ip1900.
