Question Unable to open execute binary files AppImages under Debian 7

Hello everyone,

I really dont know what I need to install on this Debian 7, to be able to execute AppImages, since I am able to execute those files at least with Debian 9.

Under Debian 7, I am getting this error:

Code:
user@torno-pc:~/Desktop$ ./Subsurface-4.6.4-x86_64.AppImage
-bash: ./Subsurface-4.6.4-x86_64.AppImage: cannot execute binary file
Having done chmod a+x on it.

Under GUI I am unable to open those files with double click, it does nothing.

Anyone knows what is missing?

Damm ... I forgot to check that, and yes this is a 32bit OS and that appimage uses 64bit.

Sorry for the waste of time.
