Unable to Mount through /etc/fstab

Hi,

I have 2 RHEL 4 servers

Server 1 - RHEL 4 NFS Server
Server 2 - RHEL 4 NFS Client

I have exported filesystem from Server 1

/abc host2(ro,sync)

While I am going to access the same from NFS Client I am able to access the same from mount command but while adding the same into /etc/fstab and "mount -a" it gives me permission denied error.

mount -t nfs host1:/abc /def----------Working fine.
In case of /etc/fstab

host1:/abc /def nfs ro 0 0

mount -a

Gives me error of permission denied.

Please let me know is there anything wrong in /etc/fstab entry.

Thanks

Did you unmount it before you tried to mount it again? Did you try to mount as root? .. also usually I just try to mount what I need, not everything

Code:
mount -a -t nfs
