Well, you're going to need to give us more information since your post tells us nothing about what you're actually trying to do and what's not working.
Kickstart is a system for automating installs for Red Hat and some Red Hat based distros (e.g. I used it when I had to provision over 100 identical machines at the place I work). You need to create a kickstart config file and then when Anaconda (the installer program) starts you need to tell it where to find the kickstart file. This is done by specifying an extra argument on the boot command line of the install kernel, e.g. ks=http://intranet.web.server/my-kickstart-file.ks -- you may also need to specify the system being installed's IP address and other network parameters unless it has some way of determining these automatically, such as DHCP.
In short, kickstart is complex and there's too much to explain in the simple forum post. I suggest readingthe manuals from Red Hat's Web site and posting back here with specific problems or questions.
entry in etc/exports is
/var/ftp/pub 192.168.0.2(ro,sync)
I hv exported this using
exportfs -a
In rpninof -p it shows the shared directories /var/ftp/pub
After that I hv copied Ist cd of RHEL5 in the pub dir. After that I hv copied Server dir. of the 2nd cd and placed in the pub/Server which is already created by Ist cd. I hv copied all cd respectively in pub directories.
Now I hv copied anaconda.cfg to /var/ftp/pub to ks.cfg. (I also created ks.cfg using GUI.)
Now I m booting another system by CD1 and at
boot:linux ks=nfs:192.168.0.2:/var/ftp/pub
I hv also given
boot:linux aksmethod
and then NFS it aks for the SErver name and directory. I mentioned that.
But It shows the error that directory could not be mounted.
