Ubuntu Server can't connect to itself.

I have an OpenVZ VPS from AlienLayer that seems to have trouble connecting to itself. What I mean by that is, I'm currently running an IRC server on the machine, but I can't connect my services, nor BNC, bots, etc. My users can connect fine, which lead me to believe that it's just the server that can't connect to itself..

Here's what I mean:

BNC:
Code:
08/10/12 @ 7:07:43 PM <Chaos> connect
08/10/12 @ 7:07:43 PM <*status> Jumping to the next server in the list...
08/10/12 @ 7:07:43 PM <*status> Attempting to connect to [irc.MyDomain.com +6697] ...
08/10/12 @ 7:09:46 PM <Chaos> jump
08/10/12 @ 7:09:46 PM <*status> Jumping to the next server in the list...
08/10/12 @ 7:10:07 PM <*status> Attempting to connect to [irc.MyDomain.com +6697] ...
08/10/12 @ 7:12:36 PM <*status> IRC connection timed out. Reconnecting...
08/10/12 @ 7:12:36 PM <*status> Attempting to connect to [irc.MyDomain.com +6697] ...
08/10/12 @ 7:15:06 PM <*status> IRC connection timed out. Reconnecting...
08/10/12 @ 7:15:06 PM <*status> Attempting to connect to [irc.MyDomain.com +6697] ...
08/10/12 @ 7:17:36 PM <*status> IRC connection timed out. Reconnecting...
08/10/12 @ 7:17:36 PM <*status> Attempting to connect to [irc.MyDomain.com +6697] ...
08/10/12 @ 7:20:06 PM <*status> IRC connection timed out. Reconnecting...
08/10/12 @ 7:20:07 PM <*status> Attempting to connect to [irc.MyDomain.com +6697] ...
Irssi:
Code:
03:12 -!- Irssi: Looking up irc.MyDomain.com
03:12 -!- Irssi: Connecting to irc.MyDomain.com [MyIP] port
          6667
03:14 -!- Irssi: Disconnecting from server irc.MyDomain.com: [leaving]
03:14 -!- Irssi: Connection lost to irc.MyDomain.com
03:14 -!- Irssi: Looking up irc.MyDomain.com
03:14 -!- Irssi: Connecting to irc.MyDomain.com [MyIP] port
          6667
03:15 -!- Irssi: Disconnecting from server irc.MyDomain.com: [leaving]
03:15 -!- Irssi: Connection lost to irc.MyDomain.com
The BNC is installed on the same machine the IRCd is on. I can connect to other IRC servers with it, just not my own.

I'm running irssi through putty on the same machine, as well.

If anyone could help me with this, I would very much appreciate it.

Edit: I just realized I may've posted this in the wrong section. My bad.

You may want to see on wich interface the ircd is listening
Code:
netstat -naltp
Should give you an hint. You can also try to connect to yourself using loopback 127.0.0.1
Also you can check what are you ip
Code:
 ifconfig
