I had Slack 10.1 and this configuration was workin fine but not in suse.
** Needed NOT to be there in slack
this is connected to a tv. The tv works until X start, after its just distortion. Kde controlcenter detect on one screen. (So its in my conf)
*** I did try withou the "on" (Option "TwinView")
X log does not report any error and the system works fine.
I think there may be sometihing wrong (missing) in my installation. because im encountering a few small problem ( changin bootsplash, compiling program.)

Did you ever get twinview to work properly? I'm having the same problem, worked great on Mandrake but nothing with SuSE 9.3.....

ya i had it in slackware 10..
the funny thing is that in slack i could not have a framebuffer if the tv-out was pluged in. to boot at eg 800x600 i had to unpluged the tv-out thenn, after bootup i just had to plug it in and it worked fine. (But i qould loose the any tty with the framebuffer) in suse i can boot at 800x600 with the tv-out pluged and it shows up on the tv no problem as soon as Xorg starts it goes distorted. i can see activity eg if i move a window. there is a signal goin out but its all distorted

Do you have it workin at boot time?
