Does anyone know what they're called and where they are?

been nice if you told me the system go to slackware and down load the pkgtool then install it. if you cant install from tgz do it manually and then run the install script make sure you change the script to executable. then follow the direction how to make a package. it is make make install to DIRDEST=/your folder it creates a usr folder then navigate yo it and type makepkg the name you want tgz. you now have a wrapper.

But I'm not running Slackware.

I just want the exec for the XFWM4 window manager. Not the whole XFCE settings manager.

well I thought you wanted to build a program and use a wrapper to install it. like a rpm tgz. you just want to have a shortcut to a executable file well then on any icon on your desk top right click it. this will ask you if you want to create a launcher this will then make a launcher and you will then show it where the executable program is. In xfw. or if you can you can create a text file on your desk stop and then turn it in to a launcher. But a wrapper is WHAT to you. if this is'nt it then guess what I give up I guess you or I do not know what a wrapper is even though I have been building wrappers for over 10 years take care. on my xfw I right click my firefox icon then I created a launcher that lead to my Amsn program then i set the icon and then I had a shortcut in windows term or a desk top launcher in linux terms to the program then I click it and start chatting and use my web cam etc. and no it does not make a duplicate launcher of the one you right click.
