trouble with KDE
I installed redhat 7.3 on a computer and it worked just fine. KDE came on when I turned the comp on. Then i bought a different comp to make just a Linux box and installed the same way but it only goes to command prompt. How do I get the KDE GUI up?

Possibly you forgot to install KDE during the install?
If you want it to boot to KDE each time, change your default run level from 3 to 5 in /etc/inittab
id:3:initdefault to id:5:initdefault

I re-installed with a different monitor and it still only goes to the command prompt. Only now when i type startx, instead of the no screens found error i get "cannot establish any listening sockets-Make sure an X server isnt allready running. I don't see why it goes right to the KDE interface on one computer but on a different computer i cant get past the command prompt. Any help is appreciated.

There are alot of Linux help channels on IRC.
irc.openprojects.net
#linux
#linuxhelp
And many others. Sometimes people can help there, and being IRC it's live chat.
Good Luck
