Trouble mounting cd drive

I'm having trouble mounting my cdrom drive:

I get the error, "mount: block device /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: No medium found"

Edit: The cd is in the drive.

Edit no.2 : Solved

Any suggestions? thank you.

How are you attempting to mount it, with what command and what is on the cdrom, media or data?
