Talking Tring to ser vidio resalution


Hi

I'm using Fujitsu Life book C-1020, Redhat Es3 update 8 and I am tring to set my video resolutions to 1024x768 but it always stay at 800x600, I edited the XF86Config but when I restart X he says the file corrupt and re do the file

How ca I set the resolution to 1024x768

I upgraded it to AS 4 and changed the resolution and it worked

any way thanks
