Transferring mail and address from Ubuntu to XP
I purchased an IBM NetVista 8303. It has a P4 processor. I want to move the Thunderbird that is on my Ubuntu system over to the XP. I've been struggling to understand how to make the back up file that would save the profile, the address book, folder system, and the emails. I have gone ahead and downloaded a new but blank Thunderbird on the IBM machine. I've tried right clicking and exporting the files from the Ubuntu T-bird with a flash drive stick--but on the XP T-bird it won't import successfully from the flash drive stick.
Any help would be appreciated.
