tomcat installation on redhat

i am using Redhat 9. i want to install tomcat . Can anyone tell me ...which one to download from the jakarta-apache website ? Suppose, i download the source & not the binary from 5.5.7. What to do next ? extracted running # tar -xvzf ......There's no ./configure. i extracted at /usr/src/jakarta-tomcat-5.5.7-src. Pliz guide me how to install tomcat in a step by step procedure . or else alternatively send me a good link on "how-to-tutorial-tomcat" . The tutorial should not be confusing. waiting eagerly for your reply.... jk martha

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
