how to find RAM capacity and
processor info in a red hat linux 9 server?

That info will be in the /proc directory. I'm not at home right now, so I can't tell you exactly where in there.

The below command will show to details about RAM in the system:

#cat /proc/meminfo

You can find more info about the system from the virtual filesystem /proc

cat /proc/cpuinfo to get info on the CPU

or you can install the lshw application and use it to get a nice list of the hardware in your system .

# cat /proc/meminfo - [To get Memory Information]
# cat /proc/cpuinfo - [To get CPU Information]
