TinyWM not working under Xephyr

I am trying to get TinyWM (http://incise.org/tinywm.html) to work. I ran
Code:
Xephyr -ac -screen 1280x1024 -br -reset -terminate 2> /dev/null :1 &
And then
Code:
DISPLAY=:1 ./tinywm &
,where tinywm is compiled with
Code:
gcc tinywm.c -g -o tinywm -lX11
From the new xsession, I opened chromium. I can't, however, move/resize the chromium window with Alt+Left/Right mouse button, as stated on its website. Am I doing something wrong? The code for TinyWM looks like the key-bindings should work as well.

Most likely the keypresses are being intercepted by the hosting Window manager of display :0 and the nested Xephyr and Tinywm within never sees them.

To get this to work, you'll need to find a window manager for the host session that allows you to control which keys it grabs, or which allows you to disable key grabs when a specific window has focus.
