TightVNC 1.2.9 install

I'm a newbie to Linux, so need a little help installing and using TightVNC, please.

I'm using Fedora Core 3, downloaded the TightVNC1.2.9_unixsrc.tar.gz package.
Run the gunzip command, alot of things run, but what I do next?

Any helps will greatly appreciated,

Well your most likely going to be installing it from source. After the files extract, it should create a TightVNC directory, cd into that directory and look for a README or INSTALL file, it should explain the proper steps to install.

The majority of the time you'll probably just run a:

./configure
make
make install

But check the docs before proceeding and runtime configure options you may want enabled, etc.
