themes not displaying properly

After a recent large system update via the package manager, my themes are somewhat "screwy." Certain themes work fine, such as Mist and Clearlooks, but others are not displaying correctly. The window border always works but it's the rest of the theme that's messed up. I'm guessing a new package like gnome-themes or gtk2-engines is the culprit.

This is how the theme looks and this is how it should look.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem, and if so, how did you fix it?
