how do i get to see the tru shell???
I am running x windows and opening up a term session, but i wanna see the true (master?) terminal. Meaning that if i was to run jobs i would see any job thats running (maybe xserver......) I'm not sure exactly what i'm asking for but........ can anyone point me in the right direction??
I need more RAM, cause it's kinda slow, but it works fine. Then of course theres Darwin in Mac. Real nice! I like to make mine green on black with a flashing cursor. As far as I know, the terminal in XP is a 32 bit app, so not really a DOS CLI.
press
ctrl alt backspace
in the GUI to clsoe the GUI and you will see the linux console (call it whatever you want but its called console in the kernel config, terminal i think means the text mode of your graphics card (**BORING**), neways to start the GUI back up type
